It’s important to report your annual payroll on time to fulfil your responsibilities with the WCB, otherwise you will be penalized for late reporting.
Penalties rise from 5 per cent to 10 per cent depending when you send your information to the WCB. The best way to make sure you don’t pay more is to send in your annual payroll information on time.
Whenever possible, we encourage you to contact Assessment Services to understand the reason the penalty was given. If you do not agree with the WCB’s decision, you can have the penalty reviewed through the reconsideration process.
