Report your injuryIf you’re hurt at work, report it to the WCB. Although reporting a workplace injury can be overwhelming, we will make the process as easy as possible.Step 1: Report your injury to your employerTell your manager or supervisor you were hurt at work as soon as possible. They may ask you to fill out a form about the injury. If your employer does not have a standard form, you may use the Notice of Injury to Employer form.Your employer is responsible for reporting your injury to the WCB within five business days of learning about it.Step 2: See a healthcare providerSeek medical attention for your injury. Let your healthcare provider know you were injured at work.You can attend the Worker Care Clinic or see a healthcare provider of your choice.Learn more about the Worker Care Clinic here.Step 3: Report your injury to the WCBIf you miss time from work or see a healthcare provider because of a workplace injury, call the WCB to report your injury.A WCB representative will take details about your injury and other information needed to open your claim. You will be given a claim number and an adjudicator. The adjudicator will gather information from all parties to make a decision about your claim and whether you are entitled to benefits.There are multiple ways to report your injury:Mobile appWCB Worker Connect is the most convenient way to report your injury and access your claim information.WCB Worker Connect is available in both English and French.
