Policy Update 08-24

• Accessible customer service #20.20: Policy revised by Board Order No. 46/24 on November 28, 2024, effective immediately to ensure that the policy complied with all requirements of the Accessibility for Manitobans Act and associated regulations.
• Clinical examinations #42.20.10: This policy was repealed by Board Order 34/24 on October 3, 2024 effective December 31, 2024 and replaced by Policy 44.05.25, WCB -Directed Medical Examinations effective January 1, 2025.
• WCB-directed medical examinations #44.05.25: Policy created by Board Order 34/24 on October 3, 2024 effective January 1, 2025. The new policy replaces repealed policy 42.20.10, Clinical Examinations (Board Order 34/24). The repealed policy contained outdated language and did not reflect current practices.
• Support for daily living #44.120.30: Policy revised by Board Order No. 35/24 on October 3, 2024 effective January 1, 2025. Policy was updated to align with revisions to the Act, clarify that support for daily living is a specific type of medical aid, and to remove the administrative guidelines from the policy.Mileage and Expense Rates have been updated for January 1, 2025.
