The Workers Compensation Act (the Act) provides the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) with the authority to determine the most convenient and appropriate manner in which to pay compensation.
This policy outlines the special circumstances in which the WCB may exercise its authority to pay compensation to someone other than the worker or dependant.
