Provide information, advice and assistance to the injured worker, including any certificates required by the WCB at no cost to the worker. Communicate the worker’s abilities to both the worker and employer. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support the injured worker’s recovery and safe, suitable return to work. Complete and submit WCB reports promptly. Bill the WCB for medical aid within 12 months of the worker’s discharge or 12 months of the worker’s return to work following their injury, whichever is shorter.
