By signing the agreement, physiotherapists agree to the service rates and terms set by the WCB.What you should know Does a physiotherapist need to sign multiple Physiotherapy Individual Service Agreements, if they work at multiple locations? A signed agreement is required for each physiotherapist, regardless of how many locations they work at. The agreement is between the WCB and the individual, not the clinic.How long is a signed Physiotherapist Individual Services Agreement valid? The agreement remains valid as long as the physiotherapist’s registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba is active. A new agreement is required if the registration number changes.I work at a hospital. Do I still need to sign? If your services are not billed as a fee for service, you do not have to sign the agreement. If you also work in a private setting where they bill the WCB as a fee for service, you must sign the agreement.What happens if I don’t sign the agreement before treating an injured worker? Physiotherapists must sign the agreement before treating injured workers to ensure compliance with the WCB’s requirements.
