It is an opportunity to gain a broad understanding of how the WCB operates in order to better navigate the system. The workshop focuses on the key points of interaction between WCB, employers and workers.Building on what you learned in WCB Basics, the Return to Work Basics workshop will help you gain an understanding of the basic elements and best practices needed to build effective workplace return to work programs. The workshop will provide valuable tools to develop or enhance a workplace return to work program to support workers with safe and suitable work.Both workshops are offered both in-person (one-day workshops) and virtually (split over a day and a half).Virtual workshops take place through the Webex training platform in a virtual instructor-led workshop. Webex is the online platform used to support WCB virtual workshops. Webex is not supported by iPhone, iPad and Android. For best results, use a Chrome Browser on a laptop or desktop computer.Participants enrolled will be in the same virtual classroom at the same time. Facilitators will verify attendance and use tools like polls and quizzes to reinforce learning and encourage participation.To obtain a certificate of completion, all modules must be successfully completed. Space is limited to a maximum of 16 participants to ensure quality interaction.If you have registered for a virtual workshop, you will be sent virtual access information two days prior to the workshop date.
