Assessments online

Assessments Online is a secure internet application that will help you manage your employer account with the WCB. As a registered user, you’ll receive email notifications when a new account statement is ready for viewing. You’ll also be able to view both your current and previous account statements. Access to this application can safely be given to multiple users to allow flexibility in accessing accounts to ensure timely bill payments.

This application is one of many online services offered by the WCB to provide better and faster service to our customers. If you have already registered for Assessments Online, click here to log in.

An account statement informs employers of their current financial status with the WCB. It provides reminders about payments that may be due as well as accounting information about any financial transactions that have taken place on their account.

Account statements are issued on the fifth working day of each month if there is an amount owing of $5 or more and/or if there has been a financial transaction on the account since the last account statement.     

Account statements are also issued to remind employers of their installment schedule. For example, account statements are issued on the fifth working day of August to remind an employer that a payment is due on August 30.

Once you have submitted your request to sign up for online account statements, our WCB Technical Support team will send you an email with your username and temporary password to complete the registration process.

If you are registered to receive account statements online, you will receive an email to notify you when a new account statement is ready for viewing. The email will include a link that will take you to the account statement online.

Once you have accessed your online account statement, you will see a link at the top of the page that allows you to make a credit card payment. Only accounts with a yearly premium under $10,000 are able to make credit card payments.

Yes. Account statements are available in a PDF format that you can download and print.

Before you register, check with your System Administrator to make sure your system is compatible with the interactive online account statements system. Your system needs to include:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or above
  • JavaScript enabled on your web browser
  • Cookies enabled on your web browser
  • Adobe 4.0 or above

Use unusual passwords. Never use familiar names like those of your children or company. The following list contains the password rules for the WCB Online Services:

  • Your initial password will be a randomly generated, six-character word.
  • You must change your initial password the first time you log in.

Your password:

  • Must be between six and 16 characters and must be different from the previous four passwords you have used.
  • Can be of mixed case and contain special characters.
  • Must contain a combination of at least two alphabetic, numeric or special characters.

It cannot:

  • Be equal to patterns of six keys in a row on the keyboard (e.g., qwerty or asdfgh) or their shift representations.
  • Contain more than three identical consecutive characters in any position from the previous password.
  • Contain more than two consecutive identical characters.
  • Be a license plate number or postal code format.

A list of account statements from the current and previous year will be available for online viewing. Simply click the link for the account statement you wish to view. Please be advised that your statements will be available online on the next business day after you have completed the registration process. 

If you need to view an account statement that is not available through online account statements, please contact the WCB’s Assessment Services department.

Unfortunately, you may not revert back to receiving account statements via regular mail if you have completed the registration for the online account statements.
