Setting piles: Cast in place piles consist of concrete poured into pre-drilled holes. Pile driving – a truck-mounted pile driver hammers steel piles, pre-cast concrete piles or wooden posts into the ground. Caissons (and cast in place piles) constructed to support the construction of bridges that are built across bodies of water.
