Your rate notification contains information about:

• your WCB rate
• the potential rate range for your business size
• how you compare to other employers

You'll also find information on whether your industry classification is trending to a higher or lower category and  what you can do to improve your business performance and reduce your WCB costs.

Risk Category Movement

The rate system allows for movement of industry classifications to different risk categories based on cost performance.  

Employers who received a change to their risk category may see an increase or decrease to their rate, depending on the trend of their industry classification's claims cost experience.
