Fair Practices

Fair Practices Office

Created in 1989, the position of a Fair Practices Advocate is a key component of the Workers Compensation Board's commitment to quality service and fair process for injured workers and employers.

While not a level of appeal, anyone with a concern about a claim or assessment may contact the Fair Practices Advocate for assistance.

In the Ombudsman tradition, the Fair Practices Advocate is independent and impartial and will do everything possible to ensure that a fair, courteous, and timely process occurs in the resolution of claims.
