Register Your Business with the WCB

Many businesses in Manitoba employing workers are required to register for workers compensation coverage. Being a WCB-registered employer qualifies your workers for WCB benefits and protects you from lawsuit in the event of a workplace injury.

If you do not currently employ workers in Manitoba, you do not need to contact us. If you do employ workers or anticipate you will in the near future, please contact us and we will determine if your business falls within the industries covered by The Workers Compensation Act.

To help us determine if you require coverage, please take a few moments to complete and submit this registration form. If we decide that your firm falls within an industry that must carry WCB coverage, we will contact you to register with us. It will only take a few minutes to set you up with a proper Workers Compensation Board registration.

Personal Coverage

If you do not currently employ workers, personal coverage, also known as special coverage, may be an option for you. Please refer to these Special Coverage fact sheets to find out more about the WCB coverage we have available for Manitoba business owners.

Optional Coverage

If it turns out that your business is not required to have workers compensation coverage, we also have optional coverage which you can purchase at very competitive rates to enhance the benefit package you provide to your workers.
